A very short epistle this will be, be rest assured.
As usual, time is doing what it knows how to do best, which is ‘not waiting for anyone’. As at the time I’m writing this epistle to you, it’s the 109th day of the year.
It’s the 4th month, you have 8 months to go.
The question is ‘what have you done, so far’. One of the most profound statements I heard is ‘he who doesn’t eat and he who eats but does not digest are the same’.
I had a lot to write this week, but then I thought I should pause and have you reflect.
And when I mean reflecting, I don’t mean looking into space for an unnecessary long period.
As a matter of fact, the word reflect is from two latin words, re (meaning back) and flectere (meaning to bend).
In the real sense, what a mirror does is to bend the rays of light that bounce on it back to you, so it ‘reflects’ your image.
Bounce ‘YOU’ back to ‘YOU’ my friend,
Are YOU the YOU that YOU really want to be.
This reminds me of an early stage in my financial life where I invested wrongly and had a major crash, I lost a huge sum of money, this loss almost crippled me financially.
But earlier ahead, I had listened to a resource on portfolio diversification and I spread my investments across a number of other investments.
I remember throwing some cash in the crypto and stocks sphere back then, I didn’t know much, so I just spread my risks amongst as many assets as I could do my own research on.
I experienced over 1000% growth in that investment that year alone
Am I saying it will always be so. Absolutely not

At random times, I would always sit down and ask myself
What if I ‘listened’, but never acted.
Perhaps I won’t be writing this newsletter today.
